Free Creative Classes Coming!

The Alberta House Arts Center will be partnering with Bayliss Public Library to hold special art and design education classes once a month. Free and open to the public to foster creativity, learning and outreach within the community of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. The basic series will cover a range of topics, to be set by guest educator or lecturer. Classes are to be held on the first Saturday of the month, beginning in May, 2022 and to be held every month. The goal is to create a free introduction into said topic or media, to be followed up by a masterclass/advanced in said topic/media to be held at the Alberta House Arts Center for a fee, set by guest educator or lecturer if they want to.

A few things to consider: Classes are not open to children. The library does have a dedicated kids room, but the classes themselves are open to 12+ with adult supervision. Classes are to be held on the first Saturday of the month, for 1-2 hours, not to exceed 2 hours. Classes begin at 1:30. Access to the equipment such as projector will be provided, working in tandem with Bayliss staff. Room must be left in a clean and neat order when class is finished. Classes are hosted in the Community Room.
